david andrew seaman MBE, is a former goalkeeper. He was born thursday 19 september 1963 in rotherham and went to kimberworth school.
At the peak of his career he was arsenal and england goalkeeper. He played in the 1998 and 2002 world cups, euro 96 and euro 2000. david seaman is england's second most capped goalkeeper with 75 caps, after peter shilton.
In december 2004, david took part in strictly ice dancing, a one off ice show. He joined the show at short notice, replacing paul gasgoigne. With just eight days to prepare, seaman and his professional partner zoia birmingham won the competition.
